This was the first coiled piece in the collection that was inspired by the interesting textures coiling a triangular piece of paper made. An added dimension was created from using contrasting colors of the blues and greens of the paper against a cadmium yellow.

I was curious about the different patterns and layouts of the coils and soon this piece became a triptych!
