"OG", 2019
Paper on foam board
This was the first piece I ever made and was a gift for my girlfriend. Its inspiration came from an origami fold that we saw online that we thought would look good in our apartment. Although the fold and structure of this piece is different then the one we found, making it ultimately started my small obsession with paper art.
"VandB" , 2020 20 in. x 30 in.
Paper on watercolor paper
My earliest works used the same fold pattern as the "OG" but I as I learned and practiced different ways of creating texture I began experimenting by combining techniques. Here I used the same size folded pyramids and incised triangles in the negative space to reveal a black background.

"Snake" , 2021 16 in. x 20 in.
Paper on pastel board
Inspired by branching out from using traditional origami folds, where there are no cuts or glue used to keep the shape together. I began to creating patterns with simple and more complex 3d geometric shapes.

"Calm Iterations", 2022 24 in. x 36 in.
Paper on mat board
I love the process of figuring a new shape and enjoy the challenge of experimenting with folded curves.
